Quarter 1, Week 2

 Welcome to week 2, 4th grade families! We had a wonderful first week and are enjoying getting to know your students better. We are continuing to practice and perfect our routines and expectations with the students, and they are doing a wonderful job. 


Announcements

Please make sure your student brings their copy of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz  to school no later than Wednesday, August 23rd. 


This Week in 4th Grade

Science: Measure, compare and contrast physical properties of matter

Literature: Pied Piper of Hamelin  

Writing: Dictation and summaries

Grammar: Nouns

Math: Multi-digit whole numbers

Spalding: Phonogram review and penmanship

Science: Vocabulary quiz on Friday, August 25th 

Literature: Pied Piper quiz on Wednesday, August 23rd

Math: Chapter 1 Test on Friday, August 25th

Spalding: Phonograms 1-40 quiz on Friday, August 25th

 Welcome back 4th grade families! We truly hope you all had a wonderful winter break and enjoyed the holidays with family and friends. Quarter 1, Week 3

Hello 4th grade families, and welcome to week 3.  We hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready for a great week ahead.     Announcements Curriculum Night for grades 3-6 is this Wednesday, August 30th. Quarter 4, Week 5

  Hello 4th Grade families and welcome to the 5th week of the 2nd quarter! Can you believe we're halfway through the second quarter?  Announcements Thanksgiving break is Monday the 20th to Friday the 24th. We'll see you back at school on the 27th.  Our Winter Concert is coming up on Friday, December 1st. Please refer to the Family Handbook for the correct concert attire. Here is a link to the songs our amazing scholars are going to sing at the concert.
