Hello 4th grade families, and welcome to week 3. 

We hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready for a great week ahead.  


 Announcements

Curriculum Night for grades 3-6 is this Wednesday, August 30th. An email was sent by the school with all the details. 


No School on Monday, September 4th for Labor Day


This Week in 4th Grade

History: Constitution

Literature: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz; Setting, Predictions, Plot Elements, Textual Evidence   

Writing: Summaries 

Grammar: Classifying subject, noun and verb within a sentence

Math: Place value in multi-digit numbers

Spalding: Review of phonograms and Spalding rules.  


Assessments 

Grammar:  Noun quiz on Tuesday, August 29th

Literature: Wonderful Wizard of Oz  Ch 1-6 quiz on Wednesday, August 30th 

Spalding: Phonograms 41-70 quiz on Friday, September 1st

 Welcome back 4th grade families! We truly hope you all had a wonderful winter break and enjoyed the holidays with family and friends. Quarter 1, Week 8

 Hello 4th grade families! Can you believe we are in the final week of Quarter 1?  Announcements It's Homecoming week! Wear your spirit shirts this Friday, October 6th to celebrate GHNO.  The Wonderful Wizard of Oz celebration is this Friday, October 6th. Please be sure to send in any donations that you signed up for.  Sign up for Parent Teacher Conferences.
